As part of his unflinching and avowed commitment to bolstering security and boost the morale of security agents in Badagry local government and also enhance the operational capacity of Nigeria police to respond to crime and distress calls promptly, the executive chairman of Badagry local government, Hon. Onilude Olusegun Adeniran handed over a patrol vehicle to Badagry Police Station.
Hon. Onilude while presenting the patrol vehicle to the DPO of Badagry Police station, CSP Folajimi Agosile, said the procurement of the vehicle is in line with his administration’s commitment to bolstering security within the local government. The council boss reiterated that his administration is committed to supporting security agents, building synergy between the government, the people and security agents to effectively mitigate crime and also prioritize the security of lives and properties in Badagry local government.
“We procured this vehicle because we understand that security personnel needs incentives to carry out their duties. And to encourage the police to continue to do more in keeping us safe, we must also do the all we can to support them. This will further cement the relationship between the Police, the people and this administration in protecting lives and properties.”
The DPO of Badagry police station CSP FolajinmiAgosile in his remarks while receiving the vehicle from Hon. Onilude commended the chairman for being a visionary leader who is interested in improving the security architecture of the local government. CSP Agosile assured the council boss of the continued dedication of the Nigerian police in safeguarding lives and properties.
