Sam Egube, a former commissioner for budget and economic planning, has been named the new deputy chief of staff by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Once his former deputy chief of staff, Gboyega Soyannwo, passed away, the governor nominated Egube to fill the vacancy.
Sanwo-Olu made the announcement of the former commissioner’s appointment, less than a week after Soyannwo’s funeral, which was attended by many in the state
The governor, on Wednesday, made Egube’s selection known during the commissioning of fifteen high-capacity ferries intended to boost traffic on the state’s waterways.
