Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), a unit of the Lagos State Police Command, have arrested three suspects for having suspected human tongues in Lagos.
The initial suspects, identified as Isah Amohullahi, 30, and Abubakar Isah, 32, were apprehended during a routine stop-and-search operation on October 15, 2024, at the Otedola Bridge.
According to the command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, further investigations led to the arrest of a third suspect, Gbolahan Temidayo.
“The suspects, Isah Amohullahi ‘m’ aged 30 and Abubakar Isah ‘m’ aged 32 were arrested in a taxi on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, during a routine stop-and-search on Otedola bridge.
“Further investigations led the operatives to the arrest of another suspect from whom the parts were bought, Gbolahan Temidayo ‘m’, in Oyingbo Market, Lagos,” Hundeyin said in a statement on Tuesday.
He added that investigations are ongoing at the Command headquarters.
